Today is World Telecommunication and Information Society Day, with the theme: “Information and Communication Technology (ICT) entrepreneurship for social impact.”

The importance of communication cannot be underestimated. From the beacons of the Middle Ages to the wonders of wireless communication technology, communication has made it easier for man to share information and knowledge, and has also helped us develop meaningful relationships within our immediate environments and even across the globe. Telecommunication has had such an impact on the world, that a world without it is difficult to imagine.

Advances in communication technology have transformed the way the younger generation communicate and access information, and we at C4C believe that this can be properly harnessed in such a way as to provide useful information and create an pathway towards a world where young people are empowered and inspired to reach their full potentials and become active players in world development.
