The official launch of the C4C Global Entrepreneurship Fellowship Programme held on Monday, the 10th of September, 2018 and it was a resounding success. The launch attracted very distinguished personalities from all over and beyond the country, various Media Outlets, friends and family members and other well-meaning Nigerians who came to support the actualization of the dream of building successful entrepreneurs.
The event kicked off with Red Carpet/ Pre-Dinner Cocktails, followed by Press Conference, with the President of C4C and some other board members addressing the members of the Press on the visions of the organization, journey so far and future plans to empower a great number of youths in Nigeria.
There were highly inspirational speeches by very well accomplished people in different spheres of life. The likes of His Excellency, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko (the immediate past Governor of Ondo), Her Excellency Amb. Joy Ogwu, Dr.A.B.C Orijiakor (CEO of SEPLAT Ltd), Engr. Charles Onuegbu (CEO of Brunnel Construction), His Excellency, (Mr Eugene Kongnyuy (Acting Country Representative for UNFPA) and of course the President and Founder of C4C, Dr Kechi Ogbuagu.
Of course, the super-excited C4C 2018 Entrepreneurship Fellowship beneficiaries were equally in attendance and soaked in the words on the marble by the seasoned experts in various fields. The Fellows who dubbed themselves ‘the Champions” gushed about this life-changing priviledge afforded them.
Other important personalities present at the event were: Mr Godwin Francis (UNFPA International Operations Manager), Fr. Dominic Adeiza, Barr.Carol Ndaguba (the pioneer NAPTIP Executive Secretary), Prof. Uche Amazigo, Mr Erasmus Muorah (UNAIDS Country Director), Amb. Sagey, Mr Mike Egboh (Rtd Country Director Path11), Ms. Thelma Eremire (Former DG Ministry of Finance, Mrs Mercy Egbamuche (Rtd Legal Adviser, Min.of Finance), Prof. Christine Eneanya (Prof. of Parasitology Nnamdi Azikiwe University), Ms.Chioma Wachukwu (SEPLAT GM).
The guests were treated to awesome musical renditions by the Choral group, good food and elegant ambience and the evening ended with cool musical blast from the DJ.
